Liliana Lavezzo is a native of Marin County. She grew up in a family of 2 sisters and 1 brother. As kids her family would go camping and drive across the US in a lovely blue VW bus. For years she has been making fruit smoothies and juices at home. While traveling down in Central America and Mexico she would run across small fruit juice stands where they would make these delicious drinks on the spot. The idea of having a farmers market booth was put into her head. While watching a powerful movie called Food Matters the idea of trying to start a juice bar in Marin was re-ignited. She decided then that she wanted to share the health benefits of juicing with the people of Marin.
Liliana is a graduate of Sonoma State University with a B.A in Conservation and Restoration of our Natural Resources. She attributes her passion for protecting the environment to her parents who would take the kids on hiking and camping trips. She is also an avid traveler and loves to explore local and foreign places. Liliana would like to thank Women’s Initiative for helping her realize her dream of starting a juice bar.
